1、如果不用thus doing形式,应该改成 and thus he underestimated...,一是从逻辑关系看,thus应该在he之前,二是从时态看,这里描述的东西并非发生于前文的planted之前,不宜使用过去完成时.
2、原文错在infests,以谓语动词出现,与后面的 is 同时存在与一个主句里（两个动词所在部分都没有任何从句标记）,无法确定哪一个才是谓语,这是不合语法的.
3、原文逻辑是：经理“尽管”很想对销售团队的乐观态度做一点事,但是由于她没能宣布（即：找不到办法证明）他们的计划不可行,只能停下来了.由此可见,如果她能证明销售团队的计划不可行,她就会做成她想做的事情,因此她想做的事情一定是对销售团队泼冷水而不是鼓励他们的.所以选temper才合适,就是让他们的乐观态度缓下来一点,降降温.
