I read sush an article in newspaper few days ago,the title is “Li Suli and her yellow seats”.Everyday,Li Suli is busy letting young passengers who sit the yellow seats give seats to the old,because the yellow seats are prepared for the disabled.In the wests,however,the situation is different.there is nobody seize the yellow seats,because they all know that the seats stand for ethics and public orders.So,you can see that there’s problem for our Chinese people’s quality.
Moral education is becoming an increasing popular topic in the today’ society. “Increasing numbers of people believe that our society is in deep moral trouble”.The disheartening signs are everywhere.Media reports of increased violent crime,teen pregnancy and suicide have declared a moral crisis in our nation.In addtion,the breakdown of the family,the deterioration of civility in everyday life,commericial fraud,and so on ,are saw ererywhere.Some people often quarrel for a matter of indifference in public.They are selfish and indifferent to other ones.
In view of the above circumstances,we must educate the public about moral.Now,let’s know about the role of moral education first.As far as I am concerned,there are several aspects as follows.First,moral education let us realize our personal responsibility in society.No man could survive without society.So,anyone as long as he entered the society and become a member in society must comply with morals and do what they should do .Second,moral education can adjust various ,especially the interested relation.If all of us have no sense of moral and choose what we want to do by instinct,we will make mistakes easily.Moral education can teach us to be on good terms with others.Third,moral edcation can teach people from bad to good,from immature to mature,from uncivilized to civilized.In a word,it can teach people to be a good man .Fourth,moral education can safeguard our socialist society.It can Purify the social atmosphere,maintain a stable and harmonious society ,and we can live,study and work in it securely.
The goal of moral education is to cultivate citizens who have national consciousness,social responsibility and right values.But,how do we put moral education into practice?School education is very important.In my humble there are four ways to foster the public moral.
In the first place,the role of models is huge.Now,almost each student is the only child in family.They have a lot of bad qualities,such as arrogance,selfish,willfulness and so on.They get endless love and concern from family,relatives and friends,but they don’t understand to give their love to other people.In daily life,teachers should set a good example to students by their own words and deeds.Then,students lesrn from their teachers and will form right qualities gradually.In the second place,attach importance to family impact.No love,no education.Children living in a loving family are very happy;their spirit is pure and their character is unclouded.Example is better than precept.Parents are the first teacher to children and will go with all their lives.Therefore,parents should also have certain pusuit and influence their children with their demonstration.In the third place,reward and punishment are necessary.The goal is to let children get in to the habit of basic living from younger.To err is human.Reward can let children persist in right ideas and do it,however,punishment can let them give up wrong views and learn from others.Last but not the least,teachers must go deep into students and serve them with heart and soul.On one hand,teachers should see,listen and know a lot of things about students;on the other hand,they should also collect,understand and analyze education material which is beneficial to students’moral education.In addition,We must make moral education close actuality,close the mass and close life.
Comrade Hu Jintao’s “eight honor and eight shame”brilliantly informs people what is the proud and what is the ashamed.It sets up a new moral criterion in our society.It likes a judge who examinates every citizen’s moral conscience.Also,it more likes a cool breeze to clean up the entire society’s moral culture.
The construction of socialist ethics is an important part of developing the advanced culture.Strengthening and improving moral education relates to the country’s fate and the future of the nation.
In brief,the role of moral education is very important for our citizens,it can lay solid foudations for quality education.But,Rome was not built in a day.Moral education is a difficult and complex project.However ,I am convinced from the bottom of my heart that moral education in our country will be better and better in the coming future!
