其实在针对“存货”的时候,stock和inventory的意思是一样的.只是stock在金融中还可以指其它东西就是了,这个不提. 至于最后你问为什么不是max和min的一半,因为你看max才75,但是ROQ都已经是100了,也就是说超过了max的数量,再用75去算的话实际上就不对了.
所以,对于一切和inventory ROQ啊或者EOQ啊之类的,我一概不背什么1/2的公式,全部画图,请看下图：



【1】首先看lead time=5 days,这个5天是缓冲时间,从订货开始到货物送达需要5天的时间,那么在这段期间,椅子还是会持续卖出,但是为了保证椅子最少也要有20个,那么公司就需要在Time 0的时候订货,这个时候虽然椅子多于20个,等到Time 1椅子送到的时候,正好还剩下20个. 那么加上送到的100个椅子,这个时候就一共有120张椅子了.


【2】 然后计算average inventory(stock) level. 
20张椅子是一直保持不变的,
100张椅子是持续销售的,所以在一段时间内,这部分的平均水平就是100/2=50张椅子.（即图中那些大三角形,包括虚线部分的）
这样一算就是20+100/2=50
也就是公式里的 min inventory+ROQ/2=average inventory level


【3】关于max inventory level （这个你参考着看一下,以后可能有用）
其实这个75也是可以算出来的,就是中间横过来实线的那个inventory的数字.就是buffer inventory的最高点.
题中已知,一年需要椅子4000张,lead time是5天,假设一年有360天,椅子每天持续卖出,那么buffer inventory就是 4000/360*5=55.也就是在这5天里,还会卖出55张椅子,那么max inventory就是 20+55=75.
