的确,one对应the other（在两者之间说的话）,不过还有一个语法规则：
可数名词单数前面一定要用限定词,限定词主要两种,一种是形容词性物主代词,就是：你的,我的,他的,她的,他们的,这种；另一种是冠词,第一次出现用不定冠词a/an,特定的或再次出现的用the.但这两类限定词不可以同时出现,即用了her不再用the,所以这里只能填写her (other) hand,不要用her the other hand

人只有两只手 而且有her了 就不用the了

如果前面没有her的话就是the other 但有的话就是用other，因为你那个the和her 的作用是一样的 ，都是定语，呵呵

语感也应该是other,前面已经有个her了，就不需要the了．
