Being a novel image processing method,sparse representation takes full advantage of the fact that the natural signals are sparse or compressible,and it surpass the traditional limits of sampling theory.Sparse representation has attracted considerable attention in areas of applied mathematics,computer science,and electrical engineering.At present,how to design measurement programs effectively and extend sparse representation to the target detection system is recent hot fields.
Based on the studies and analyses of Sparse representation and classical motion detection,proposed a Sparse representation method for motion detection.Using Matlab to simulate the algorithm.Experimental results show that this method can overcome the background interference for detecting to the moving targets in several test videos.and the experimental results verify the feasibility of the method.
